A six-hour ride from Lowestoffe Country Lodge to the Hogsback Inn Hotel, over the Elandsberg mountain, through the Hogsback forests, passing the Kettlespout waterfall, through the indigenous Hogsback Yellow-Wood Forest, surrounded by the endangered Cape parrot, Samango monkeys and the Knysna Loerie.

Two-day package:
Specially suited for those who have limited time or can only get away for the weekend, we offer a night’s stay at the Woodhouselea house at Lowestoffe Country Lodge. The next day we leave on our six hour adventure towards Hogsback – picnic lunch in the forest and on arrival, a pampering massage. Explore at your leisure the unique village of Hogsback - beautiful gardens, viewpoints, local galleries, craft shops and tranquil restaurants to indulge your appetites.
Having a well-earned night’s rest at the Hogsback Inn Hotel. Next morning heading back to Lowestoffe Country Lodge on yet another scenic route via the Klipplaat River. On arrival back at the Woohouselea house you can either decide to spend the night or if needs must, pack up and head for home.
